Museum
The museum of the theatre history is situated on the third floor of spectators’ part, right side.
The museum of the
theatre history was
opened in spectators’ part in 1987 by 200 anniversary of Ryazan
Drama Theatre.
It was created and designed by the personnel
of regional museums. In its exposition there are stands with photos,
theatre programs, playbills relating to
the theatre history from the day of foundation till the present,
about eminent directors and actors.
Separate
stands cover the fate of the theatre and its employees during the
Great Patriotic war, Russian and foreign classics, Esenin theme in
the theatre repertoire.
The most typical theatrical costumes, the rewards of the theatre
including the “Badge of Honour “, different diplomas, souvenirs
from guest performances are exhibited in showcases.
The museum is open
for visitors before the beginning and in the intermission of the
performance.
