The major driving force in the works by Aleksandr Pushkin is love. Love for life is overpowering and is able to overcome any obstacles on the characters’ way. We are always in a hurry, in our time there is almost no room left for demonstration and realization of feelings. Two stories written by one author, Ivan Petrovich Belkin, are very different and alike at the same time. “The Station Master” tells us about a dying father who doesn’t feel his daughter’s love, and about the daughter who is bitterly sorry for being late and not being able to implore her father’s forgiveness. “The Blizzard” tells us about Bermin and Marya Gavrilovna who find their difficult and such a suffered happiness and let us return to those times, when the most important thing was your fellowman, family, faith in God and love…
